I work for an Indian company.

They are abusing the system and rigging it against American citizens. They also exploit the Indian workers they hire by paying them substandard wages and slow walking their attempts to get a green card, which would give them more options to work for market wages.

Is that what you are in favor of?

Been wondering that myself.

If you bring in an Indian @ $30K/year vs an American at $100K/year, by year:

YEAR 1
Indian: 103K + 30K = 133K
Murican: 100K

YEAR 2
Indian: 30K
Murican: 100K

In theory, after year 1, your company has saved 70K +/- by hiring the Indian guy (minus the initial 103K of course). So it makes sense for companies to do this. FedGov should make it less advantageous to do this but we love our cheap labor don't we folks?

What DHS is also doing is sitting on schools' application for petition of expansion for H1 visa programs. It is their way of capping the number without actually setting a cap which they lost in court.

I have always said they can accomplish more with red tape and bureaucracy than with laws.

When they threw out the "muslim ban" years ago, they should've just internally slow walked all the visas from those countries, rather than an actual public ban.

Only president to do anything about it.

If you want visas to end, you need congress. Vote accordingly.

We are supposedly bringing in all this new money between this, tariffs, new investments, etc., yet the debt keeps climbing. Where is it all going?
Our politicians refuse to cut spending, so the debt keeps climbing to the point where our government can't even cover the interest payments on that debt. Pay the minimum payment on your credit card every month, keep charging on that card and see where your balance ends up.

that's how this whole thing got started, and like all government and corporate systems, it soon morphed into a racket that undermines the working class in America

I'm tired of proposals. This should have been carved into stone on day 1.

I've worked for Atos and Tata. You are 100% correct. It's worse than the illegal Mexican problem in this country, nobody pays attention to it.

Yep. Import the Muslims. Take over Frisco, Tx, which used to be a great place to live 10 years ago.
