the best way would be with a buyback program for handguns and AW's and disallowing new stock into circulation. You wouldn't have to change any other laws/violate the constitution and most would go in a generation or two.

So all the studies the show "buy backs" are ineffective must not exist in that dim little world of yours. Also, Heller v. DC was explicit in taking such bans off the table, especially for handguns.

I support gun rights but objectively the 2nd amendment is clear as mud.
Only for someone who is historically illiterate.

How do you think colonists defended themselves? Enforced local laws?

People like you are why we are in the mess that we are in.

Ammunition does, and it’s not protected by the Second Amendment. Why not pivot to limiting ammunition by cost and outlaw sealed primers?

How about a $1,000 tax for every political post or tweet? $100,000 if you have more than 10 followers.

Buy backs have been very effective in many countries. Also it is common sense that if a federal buyback program were implemented, it would lessen the amount of guns in circulation.

No no no you're only allowed to carry guns without bullets. It says so right there in the constitution

Wrong. 2nd amendment states right to bear arms. Shall not be infringed upon. Case closed

theyve already legislated ammo to oblivion in California. the 10th amendment (in theory) protects this so I'll keep moving until all of America is gone.

Nope. I just took out my box of .308 bullets, and asked it to shoot me. It never moved.

Would appear you've posted more today than you have in over a week combined. Wonder what it is about these tragedies that gives liberals such joy, aside from the opportunity to score some political points? Like the scorpion stinging the frog.

Only "common sense" to uneducated dweebs that have no idea what they are talking about. CT passed a law years ago mandating everyone with a so-called assault weapon had to register it. Know how well it went?

Connecticut Pols Shocked That 'Tens of Thousands' of Gun Owners Defy Registration Laws

Same happened when New York tried. Think a Federal version would work better? Delusional...
