It’s hilarious how many posts are made on here about the threat of a civil war and how many guns the right has, and blah blah blah, but when something does happen gun-related, you all run here and cry about it and claim the other side is the only side preaching violence.
Just an interesting observation

No way Louisiana is at 53%. I would guess somewhere between 60-70%.
I don’t know a single person in MS that doesn’t own a gun. Even the left leaning people I know own some type of rifle or small caliber handgun

Amazing how many states bordering Canada have such high gun ownership. Maybe they are holding them for some Canadian “friends.”

this makes no sense. Predicting civil war isnt wanting civil war.
Just because we are more prepared than you doesnt mean we want it.

Having guns and ammo doesn’t mean one is truly prepared.
Most Americans I see (and I would say many on the Right) are too fat to run across a street without getting winded.

Given to me by my dad. It has never been registered anywhere. It’s in nobody’s database. Lots of people are like this.
I have a similar story. I own a S&W 38 ( not a 38 special) made in 1897. It passed to me from my father, to him from my grandfather and to my grandfather from his uncle. It isn’t in any database outside of S&W. I also have over 500 rounds for it and shoot it at least once a year.

The thread is about armed vs unarmed. Armed is more prepared than unarmed.

Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Louisiana.
The Big 6. SEC, SEC, SEC!

Lol
Florida man will have to do. We have warm weather miles of coast and no state income tax. Yankees just keep coming.

It was but then we has the great boating accident and we lost a bunch.

Ha..that’s way low. In MS, I’d say 90% plus.

Arkansas leading the SEC

Do we really want those Houstonians and weirdos from Austin beefing up the numbers? Everybody outside the big city limits is armed.

I feel the same way. All of the talk of American Civil War is interesting but not very realistic in today's society. Americans a) talk a big game but usually don't follow through and b) would very quickly miss their daily conveniences and would find a quick cease fire. This isn't 1862.

These numbers are way off, even uber liberal CA should be higher than 28.3 %. I’m guessing a lot of gun owning mountain folks didn’t bother to participate in the survey.
