That's what happens when someone is trying to prove an answer rather than find one. You have to get pretty granular (at least moreso than just a statewide level) to find the root cause of such an issue.

you almost have to go neighborhood by neighborhood to have a real discussion about these issues

i specifically brought up NBR v. SEBR

SEBR rivals or is ahead of most areas of Western Europe

Western Europe has NOWHERE like NBR

or Chicago. the southside is Chiraq. the rest of Chicago is an amazing city to rival almost any other in the world

you can't try to discuss federal policy or even the policies of Illinois when your issue is one area of one city

Not surprising. I challenged Machine as well. He declined, saying he didn't care about my opinions and didn't want to waste his time on discussion. After he melted about my opinions and wasted time on discussion...

So which constitutional rights can be ignored because they are unimportant. I’dlove to see your list.

Guns are the most sure way to commit suicide, and we see a large portion of people with a failed suicide attempt not successfully complete the act later. So having a gun increases your chances of success, and thus death.
Whats wrong with that? Are you against people having the right and ability to end their own life? I mean... would you be in favor of mandating less effective abortion methods than the d&c to reduce people’s “choice”?

It's not in the case of gun control laws, due to the wide variation between locations. Murder is illegal everywhere.
Yet oddly murder rates aren’t equal everywhere... feel free to continue making my point.

Sure it does, when they're comparable

What about national surveys? Background check rates? etc?
What would you like to know?

Since we're discussing the correlation between gun ownership rates and suicide rates in this particular sub-discussion, that it is.
Well... seeing that suicide and spending on space exploration are also correlated...

I’m not sure why the correlation is all that interesting.

you said earlier that demographics explained the difference in Austin and Houston gun violence

are you implying that they have no role in comparing countries to each other?
Yabbut.... that’s different.

EDIT: I should have kept reading

Yes, but I don't mean demographics like you mean demographics.

That’s what I was thinking. How can someone be THAT mad all the time.

I just think he’s a harmless drunkard is all.
