I was in an Academy Sports in Tupelo a few weeks ago and there was a line of white people wanting to look at pistols. As I was leaving two arse sticking out and pants dragging black thugs came in and they headed straight for the gun counter as fast as they could walk. I would be willing to bet they were not looking for something to protect their family.

I don't doubt that happened. could it be that "a cop showed up, took photos of the gun, unloaded it, put the gun and bullets in an evidence bag and put the girl in handcuffs" because the girl was found to ALSO have an outstanding warrant?

Last time I was in a pretty large local gun shop a black guy started yelling frick Trump and giving double birds on his way out the door. One of the counter guys said the dude had gotten rejected on his NICS. He said they are seeing as many rejections in a week as they saw in a month before everything kicked off.

The good news is, most of these weapons are being bought with stimulus money and huge unemployment payments, which will be scaled back in a few days. A lot of these almost new weapons, will be in a pawn shop near you.

I have found it just about impossible to find a shotgun. It would be a first time purchase for me, so I don't feel confident about combing the pawn shops for something used. Everything new is gone. One store told me they wouldn't get any new stock until next year.

A reasonably smart person, would certainly know that they will be rejected. Getting delayed, is a different story. There are a lot of strange reasons that happens, but you can still get your weapon, you just have to wait a few days. I use to have people all the time though, that would have me run the background check, and get refused, it was head scratcher for me.
What I figured out though, a lot of them think that you will sell them the gun anyway, after they get rejected. That you will offer some kind of back door deal. That's why they try it.
