I said it earlier and I’ll say it again. It’s a production. It looks phony because it looks too perfect. This is what you get when you put on a white supremacy production using your ideas of what a white supremacist rally is supposed to look like. Quite honestly it’s as if someone took scenes from a bunch of Hitler rallies in the 30’s and attempted to adapt them to todays political climate with a little modern flair. Typically you shouldn’t be able to transpose modern events over historical events, but it’s done so seamlessly here that it can’t be anything but intentional. If it’s done intentionally it’s being staged and produced for a desired effect and therefore can’t be viewed as authentic or organic.
