I was making as side not that this shouldnt be a surprise to anyone. To your point, pro rata is the correct way to look at it as our tax system is not demographic but progressive and subsidizes low income earners. Back to my point, if white flight occurs does that not affect the tax base if the people who contribute the most leave?

My humble opinion to everyone that wants to make this a racial issue....

millionaire status has more to do with you doing better than your parents. which every responsible parent dreams about. while i will die a millionaire, I am not leaving everything to my kids. However, they will be left much more than I was left (zero). My kids have been availed a really good education. My wife and I have made them responsible for their grades. They have succeeded thus far. I am confident they will become millionaires on their own.

So....to the people that think someone else has is trying to hold them down...blame your parents

So, what you are saying is that:

59% has a whopping 70%-75% of the wealth
6% has more than their share at 8%-10%
19% only has 10%-12%
And
13% has only accumulated a meager 6%-8%

I wonder why that is. I wonder what forces could be at play here. Something nefarious is surely afoot.

Dayum. If Asians were at 59% of population, they would be paying 79% to 99% of all taxes.

If I’m reading the data correctly, it seems that only one demographic pays a tax percentage less than its percent of the overall population.
