I agree. I really do feel for athletes like your daughter. Hopefully a difference maker comes along and we can stem/reverse this tide soon.

13 y.o. vs 15-16 boys(JV high school) is a huge physical difference.
In addition, basketball is more physical than soccer.
I was a good high school player. I could have walked on in college, had other athletic scholarship though.
In 8th grade I was destroying WNBA women.
I'm not hating on women's sports. The reality is what it is.

FC Dallas’ U-15 team beat the Women’s World Cup champions 5-2 in a scrimmage. Thats a roster full of 8th and 9th graders beating the US women’s national team that was a world championship squad

No one with a lick of honesty in their bones disputes that.
Women—generally speaking—are not as athletically gifted as are men.
That doesn’t mean women can’t compete amongst themselves.
I’ll never understand the contingency of folks who attempt to compare men’s sports with women’s.
There’s no need to disparage those girls who simply want to play—nor to call out girls for not drawing in the same viewership.
That’s not why girls compete.
And yet … the freakish Rapinoes of the world are misconstrued as speaking for all girls.
She doesn’t.
These angry, bitter women need to STFU.
