He may want to get the facts straight about this story before weaving anything. There seems to be a lot of back and forth bullshite associated with this story.

Aurora interim police Chief Heather Morris said in a video Friday that residents are not paying rent to gang members.

“I’m not saying there’s not gang members that live in this community,” she said in the video, taken at the Edge at Lowry apartments at Dallas Street and 12th Avenue, where officers were talking with residents.

“We’ve really made an effort these last few days to ask the specific questions and direct questions in terms of the gang activity and… making sure that people aren’t paying rent to gang leaders, gang members. That’s not happening. And we’ve discovered here today and yesterday, talking with so many residents, that that is not the case.” she said. “…We’re standing out here, and I can tell you that gang members have not taken over this apartment complex.”

Dozens of residents who gathered in the courtyard at the Edge at Lowry apartments Tuesday afternoon said they have not been threatened by — or even interacted with — gang members.

“They say there are gangs and criminals, but the only criminal here is the owner,” resident Moises Didenot told a crowd of reporters.

The residents demanded city leaders hold the “slumlord” building owners accountable for untenable living conditions, including rodents and bedbugs. Didenot held up adhesive mouse traps with three dead mice stuck to them.

Aurora officials have disputed the property manager’s claims that issues at the apartment buildings are due to gangs, instead citing poor upkeep that has resulted in repeated code violations.

Tenants on Tuesday said they were more afraid of the hatred sparked by news coverage.

“We don’t feel threatened by gangs,” said resident Gladis Tovar.

They aren’t apartments anymore.

They’re barracks.

I guess patriots are not in control.

Or maybe they are and this is part of “showing” the people. If so, that’s evil.

Anything not behind a paywall?

Like this?

quote:

Letters obtained by The Denver Gazette from the law firm representing CBZ Management — whose apartment complex in Aurora was shut down over what the city described as safety issues last month — show officials were fully aware weeks ago of accusations that a Venezuelan gang had “forcibly taken control” of the property.

quote:

In an Aug. 28 letter to Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, the law firm wrote that CBZ Management had been informed that “Aurora Multi-Family Projects have been forcibly taken control of by gang(s) that have immigrated here from Venezuela.”

Idiot

quote:

Aurora officials initially dismissed the company's claims publicly, calling them "diversionary tactics" and "alternative narratives." The issue, the city insisted, was the numerous violations of the local government's code.

Officials have since walked back those claims back.

The Aurora complexes affected by gangs — based on reports — included The Aspen Grove, Whispering Pines and The Edge at Lowry.

Maybe the illegals who don't like all that should just go back to the countries they illegally migrated here from.

They are enemy combatants. US Marshals and Ranger Regiment or MARSOC should have been sent in to raid that place and separate friend from foe, drive away with all non-US citizens for tactical questioning, then feed them to the interrogators. You can also mobilize the national guard and deputize them as Marshals.

My border plan has a force of 10k specifically for this purpose.
