You left out the part where videos showed a crowd of protestors mobbing Perry’s car.
They mobbed Perry's car because he drove it into the crowd.
He claimed he was distracted by his texting when he "accidentally" drove into the crowd, but he cell phone records show his last text was 2 minutes before he turned into the crowd.

This is the part that fricking really upsets me.
The guy is allowed to drive on that road. People are not allowed to mob his car.
He had every right to be there, the protesters didn't.
You can say he drove there in purpose. I couldn't care less. He had a right to be there where as the protesters do not.
They moved h his car and that idiot pointed a gun at him and he fooled around and found out.
Case closed. Innocent.

If you read the police interview, see Perry's cell phone records which disprove Perry's claim he was distracted by texting when he drove in the crowd, and see his social media discussions about how he could drive into a crowd and get away with it-
She shouldn't have worn that dress.
It's sad how quickly people want to move us to guilty until proven innocent.

And why was that? Multiple videos from different angles clearly indicate that mobs of protesters were ignoring traffic signals, unlawfully obstructing traffic, roaming in the streets and generally creating a chaotic situation.
Garret Foster himself seemed to be a willing participant in the volatile mob that contributed to this chaotic situation. In any event, rushing toward a car during such a scenario — with his rifle in the half-ready position — was unfortunately for Foster the ultimate realization of FA&FO.

Video linked above clearly shows Perry’s car traveling at a reasonable speed and coming to a stop even though it was a very chaotic and volatile situation. The BLM morons in the street trying to block traffic with zero authority to do so created this scenario.
That includes the weekend warrior “Libertarian” who for reasons known only to himself thought it would be a neat idea to approach a mobbed vehicle while brandishing a rifle. Unfortunately for him, Foster paid for that foolish and rash decision with his life.
Texas is Texas. If you do stupid sh*+ with a gun in Texas — like approaching a mobbed car with a rifle in the half-ready position — bad things very likely will happen to you.

A jury unanimously determined that it was murder. Did anyone on this board hear all the facts presented at trial? There is an appeals process if the jury got it wrong. A pardon should be last step if the judicial process doesn’t work.

So an innocent person should have to sit in jail during the entire appeals process because of a politically motivated jury found him guilty of a crime that he didn’t commit?

ah, so we should let out people convicted of murder because...the governor doesn't agree with the jury. This is ridiculous.
Ah.. ok so you have no problems with the Tenn legislators who were expelled then, because that is what the lawmakers decided.. They should just accept it right? Same with Roe V Wade from Supreme Court..

He is not innocent a jury of his peers convicted him. He is no longer innocent after an unanimous jury rendered the verdict guilty of murder.

So you're arguing racially charged, sham trials in the Jim Crowe south were legit?

I doubt that.

Do you understand the voir dire process? If it was a political jury then his lawyer needs to be fired. He had every opportunity to strike jurors for cause. A jury is determined by both sides and must be unanimous.

Both lawyers can strike. Does Texas allow unlimited strikes?
I doubt it.

Do you understand that during Jim Crowe, black could not vote and therefore couldn’t sit on a jury. Black defendants did not have an opportunity to ensure blacks were even part of the jury process let alone being on a jury.
So when you Learn history and procedure I’ll entertain you.

You have unlimited strikes for cause. 12 peremptory strike (strike for any reason) Good defense lawyer know how to get jurors struck for cause and save peremptory strikes.

Deconstructing your own logical argument by showing there are limits to jury trials.
