And you aren't baffled by The Flag restriction?
I cannot understand how some people are so stupid that they actually think the governor specifically banned the sale of US flags.

Ugh, why the no seeds or flags?
Because the guv sez in her wisdom, they are "non-essential".
Booze, pot, and lottery tickets? Yup, essential.

I’m pretty sure the banned all garden supplies

Unsurprisingly, the governors order does not single out either of these goods,
If the order did not include these items, then the people would be able to purchase them.

Idiot.

Caution tape bars customers from buying seed packets at a Lowe's store in Lansing on Friday, April 10, 2020. The day before, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer required large stores to cordon off their garden centers.
So this selective photo was used to stir up simple people. It’s the entire garden center, not just seeds.
Your other link was a twitter photo with zero context. In other words, this isn’t what you’re spinning it as.

It does not. The Gov has no idea what items are essential to every citizen. Can you still buy soda? What about chewing gum? Makeup? Hair relaxer? Fabric softener? Paper towels?

So people are having restrictions put on them that impact their ability to grow their own food? But they are still allowed to buy products such as soda and potato chips? Makes complete sense

Then it is even dumber than before.

And working in your own garden or yard seems a good way to self-isolate, in any case.
There's a not so small number of people that think you're not supposed to go outside during all of this. Buncha tards we live amongst, man.

The question is why the garden center in total. They can’t mulch a flower bed either. Why?

Couldn’t agree more. The order is stupid and likely a bridge too far constitutionally.
Doesn’t change the fact that the OP distorts reality for no reason, when just presenting the actual facts would have accomplished the same goal. Instead he starts a misleading thread about seeds and American flags as if those are the only two things banned.

Dems say frick a victory garden...amirite?
Thanks for clearing that up.

I did not say they were not banned. I said the governor did not specifically ban those two items alone, as your thread title and OP imply.

But you agree, with The U.S. Flag, being included as a Non-essential item? and seeds?

But it is not affirmatively counterintuitive, as is the case with the seeds.
In any case, I understand that they closed the gardening section. The flags were probably just located there. I doubt that they were affirmatively banned. I would not be surprised if they have already been moved to an “open” area.
