Landry actually did a great job in that interview.
I guarantee you that condescending CBS reporter would not have gone into the black neighborhoods in Shreveport or Baton Rouge after dark or without locking her car doors.

Notice CBS traveled a few blocks into NYC to find an attorney who "tracks redistricting efforts". Can't imagine who that douchebag lawyer votes for???

I’m sure you’ll really enjoy Landry’s segment
Or, are you trying to be humorous again?

what vestiges of Jim Crow are there in Shreveport?
I didn't know any Jim Crows but I knew a John David that was in the awl bidness. Drillin, I believe.

Condescending? I’m sure Bari Weiss would’ve enforced changes if condescending

No. People generally hate liberal women because the women are obnoxious.
You know, like you.

Watch the interview. How else would you describe her attitude other than condescending?

I did. She raised the opposition’s argument and gave Landry a platform. He handled it well imo

I had to go to downtown Shreveport Friday in order to vote early. Hell, I hate being in downtown Shreveport at noon.
Obtw, there's a building in downtown Shreveport where I used to work before I moved to Texas. Moved back about 3 years ago, and I discovered that the building now has the front door padlocked. A message said something like, "For the protection of our customers and employees, this door is permanently locked."
How sad is that?

So the opposition’s argument is that a white boy raised in a predominantly black town in Cajun country cannot understand racism. Interesting.

You are just pulling this out of thin air
This has nothing to do with the interview

That’s my governor!
He handled that about as well as can be expected.

Well who better than to give the interview than the person responsible for his district

Finally someone speaks the truth! ^^^
Landry is responsible for this whole affair. He colluded with Cleo to get (enough of) the black vote to win governor. In the process, he carved Graves out of his BR district. La taxpayers paid to defend LANDRY'S and Murrill's unconstitutional map, then the little snake goes on TV celebrating that "he" ended racial gerrymandering. GIVE ME A BREAK!

So you're saying Landry is now POTUS material?

US History is full of people who did something they knew was either illegal or egregious to get a case in front of SCOTUS to get a ruling on a controversial topic
I can absolutely see that when the Court forced Louisiana to make a 2nd majority-minority district... Landry took it as an opportunity to craft a map so incredibly stupid it HAD to end up in front of SCOTUS
Call it malicious compliance... if you will... with the end goal being exactly what he got with the Callais decision
