Posted hospitalizations don't include (or are not supposed to include) non-Covid issues.
By the way, I don't see an issue with hospitalizations are going up, as long as we stay under capacity.
But the curve is no longer flat. It is below capacity, which is great.

That's cute. Not rooted in any sense of reality or legality, but cute, nonetheless.

Not sure where anyone called you a bad person. Several of us just noticed you spent a lot of energy to avoid a really minor inconvenience.

GA hospitalizations are above their April peak, as of this week. This was a bad week for Kemp to take this stand, politically. Let the downvotes rain upon me, but know I voted for Kemp and will again, I support him, but don't have to agree with him 100%.
That's not how the PT works, either you are 100 percent in support of people like Trump and Kemp, or you are a damn red Commie who hates 'Merica!
95 percent isn't good enough, comrade...

That's not remotely true. At least I'm not aware of any prescription of non-use for constitutional rights, but feel free to point to your source on this.

“Went off on” = “Stated our position?” Why did you feel the need to state your position to some kid marking ten bucks an hour and has no control over the policy?. It’s because you and your wife are fricking trash.

Literally the first response called us shitty people.
And the scam is this deadly plague sweeping the globe and killing everything in its path! (Not)
Over a million people a year die from tuberculosis. Why have we never been told to wear masks?

Fair enough, I missed that tasteless one. I'm not name-calling, and most replies didn't.

Home Depot in Acworth has been mask free whereas Lowe’s mask positive. Publix is still the land of the free for the moment but they do have arrows telling you which direction to walk.

Not so fast my friend. Cartersville, Acworth, Kennesaw, Dalton, Rossville is still the land of the free. In Keisha land, you need more than a mask to protect yourself anyway.

This is completely false. This week alone I've been in Tifton, Covington, Fitzgerald, Atlanta/Roswell/Marietta, and Crisp County (Cordele).
I live and work in Georgia and I'm in multiple communities throughout the state each and every workday, including visits to Athens on occasion.
Your statement would be more accurate if you claimed "approx. 30%-40% are wearing masks" instead of "everyone."
This.

Kemp doesn’t really seem to care about week to week politics.
He seems to understand that the Covid-19 survival rate is over 99% and that the science (outside of the healthcare environment) around masks is conflicting at best.
The fact that people so easily capitulate to this whole “AIDS ribbons” approach to intimidating people into thinking they need a mask is laughable. This is the same group of folks that put total trust in WHO, CDC and Dr. Fauci advisories.
People act like this is the only thing to ever sicken and kill a human being. It’s crazy with the thought that we can’t do anything until we can suppress this whole thing. The 99.7% that survive need to and will go forward.

Maybe in Atlanta and Athens but most of the state could give two fricks about a mask

The Democrats are benefitting from this scam.

quote:True. That's why there's a conflict between the La Governor and the AG.quote:
I am also 100 percent opposed to Kemp's ban of local mandates. If a local government (city, or in an unincorporated area, county) wants to have a mandate, that should be their choice. If someone disagrees with it, that's why we have elections on a recurring basis.
The problem with this is one stance is not like the other.
The AG is actually quarantined with covid, and he's in favor of wearing masks. But he states that it's unconstitutional to MANDATE it.

The problem is, 98 percent of medical professionals are saying to "wear a mask".
It would be a hell of a conspiracy for 98 percent of this country's medical professionals to all be in on this conspiracy, while 2 percent of "truthers" are actually right.
I think the real issue is this: Wearing a mask probably slows the spread more than not wearing a mask. It won't stop it completely, and there may be non-medical problems. But the doctors only see the medical issues. That's why so many supported lockdowns. They don't understand or see that the cure may be worse than the disease, when you factor in economic issues.

Keisha Bottoms is nothing more than a failed social experiment. Kaseem Reid was corrupt but he ran the city like a Swiss watch and backed the blue of which in Atlanta is 60% AA... and the city as a whole is something like 56% AA.
But she says systemic racism is rampant in the APD?
She don't math either....
