That’s ridiculous. Those guys were hoping to have McConnell in the Majority Leader role. This is a huge blow to their (our) hopes.

I think I’m just going to stop voting in Federal elections.

We'll see if there's any truth to that if McConnell and the GOP gets behind Herschel Walker in Georgia. I'm still holding out hope that Manchin flips after the way he was played by Schumer over the "Inflation Reduction Act." Manchin jumping sides would be a big kick in the balls to the senator from New York. However, we're dealing with Joe Manchin.

We have seen how awesome America can be under MAGA policy.
It's been proven.
We can never un-see that now. The old milquetoast GOP with McCain or Romney type are never going to satisfy or inspire.
I don't have to have Trump carrying the banner as long as the MAGA banner is the one being carried. I can be happy with a DeSantis or Lake type as well.
But if the GOP thinks it can just go back to the way things were, then the GOP is dead.
