The wsj had a great editorial on how Schumer set all this shite up. The senate passed appropriation bills in committee. Schumer didn’t allow a vote so any spending bill negotiations start in the house. The senate can then add all the pork for negotiations and leverage to pass. Same shite, different congress as continuing resolutions are always the last add on before leaving for the year.
