Not really. The dems memo will have very little effect because:

1. It is not a bombshell.

2. The timing is horrible. It will get lost in the AR-15 and the DACA that will happen on 3/6/2018.

At this point the issue is the issuance of the FISA warrant itself, now what information was garnered by the surveillance.

I suspect we could compile quite a dossier of shady dealings if we were able to secretly surveil DEM operatives.

IF there were serious espionage findings, then fine, let them prosecute Page - or any other operative to the full extent of the law relative to any harm they did to the security of the USA.

But the politicization of the FISA process for the purposes of disadvantaging a political opponent in the midst of a presidential election is a DIRECT THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY.

THAT is the bottom line here - DEMs are undermining our democracy by using the power of the US government to attack one candidate in an election for the advantage of the other candidate.

AND - worse still - once the election is over, and the attacked candidate - against all odds - actually wins the election, the lame duck governmental operatives then begin an attack on the DULY ELECTED PRESIDENT - with the objective of hamstringing his ability to govern effectively, providing grist for an IMPEACHMENT agenda, and potentially trapping a lot of associates in perjury traps, prosecution for unrelated offenses having nothing to do with the campaign, and destroying the confidence the public has in the new government - especially when aligned with a complicit media which broadcasts propaganda 24/7

This whole thing stinks to high heaven and I hope to see some high-placed people frog-marched into the vans to take them to prison.

I think it's hilarious that the MSM went after Nixon for illegal wire taps but, support the DNC in essentially the same event with a far worse factor.. the phony dossier.

Agreed, Carter Page seems a little odd to me. But, "a little odd" & "shady character" =/= Russian agent/operative. By now, the FBI has surely had enough time and surveillance of Page to have charged him w/ a crime. The fact that he remains uncharged suggests to me he didn't commit a crime.

The Democrats should not even have responded to Nunes' Memo.

It was so poorly written and sourced that even Trump gave up touting it after a few days, after the response to it was so muted.

Now both sides will go back and forth for a few more days, until everyone gets tired of the noise.
