While this is all great and wonderful, Vance will 100% guaranteed get Trump's endorsement and he will undeniably be the nominee in 2028.

Everything in this post is time wasting horseshite. JD is going to be the guy. Marco may be Veep but that's the absolute end of the line for the next election cycle. And honestly - all of you know this. Do you know how much of a fool you have to be to think Trump would nominate anyone else before his own VP?

These mega-doners can all go mega-frick themselves.

If the mega donors unanimously chose option B. Then we should probably be voting for option A.

Of course they do. I bet he leads in banking support and MiC support as well.

Rubio seems to have had a bit of an awakening. Don't know if that perception can be completely trusted, but that can be said of the vast majority of political actors.

He is the perfect representation of MAGA.

Which will get him 30-35% of the vote. Vance is not Donald Trump that pulled more minority votes than any Rep candidate in history.

To win the general election you have to win the independent middle. Vance has got to work on that in the next couple yrs. He could win the nomination easier than the general election.

He may have but Republicans have been great at pretending to be conservatives to be elected only to backtrack on the issues that got them elected. He has a history I don't trust.

I’ve really been impressed with Marco. By all accounts, he’s doing a remarkable job.

At the same time, Marco has been around for awhile pre-MAGA.

I remember George HW Bush being considered a pretty good loyal and dependable VP under Reagan.

Then when Reagan left the stage and Bush rode that wave of good feelings and confidence into the WH, he soon showed he had his own ideas on the future of the GOP. In my opinion, we’ve been reaping the consequences of some of that even today.

So Marco is doing a great job and I cannot dispute or take issue that he is positioning himself ably.

But if Marco assumes the mantle someday, be aware that may not necessarily include a commitment to “MAGA” going forward.

Not really excited about either of the two TBH.

Opposite for me. First time in my life that I'm excited about the bullpen of conservatives following a good president.

Reagan was great, but Bush and Bob Dole didn't excite me upon Reagan's exit.

Either one really but I’d rather see eight years of Vance then 8 years of Rubio then 8 years of Barron

I’m not a mega Donor but I prefer him also.

Actually the best person for the job would be Eric Trump. Easily.

They were in Florida, Rubio's home state. Of course that crowd supports Rubio.
