He's a strict libertarian. aka free trader no matter what the country on the other end does.

The other three will simply obstruct Trump every step of the way.

So you’d think he’d be against other countries tariffs and hold them to the same, right? Nope.

Doesn’t matter.

House needs to pass it too then Trump can still veto.

This vote means nothing …Johnson will never allow it on the House floor. I like Rand but he doesn’t know how to win.
His time running for president is over. Yes, he doesn't know how to win on a national level. He knew his vote would cause it to pass and the fragile nature of the GOP's current position in power. The problem is, he does not know how to wield power and thinks everyone should just kumbaya.

Also when you tards say this or staunch conservative, let me be the first to tell you nobody gives a frick. We voted for Trump and ppl like Rand, who is principled, said he’d follow the mandate that the American people wanted by electing Trump. That strict libertarian and the others also have no problem getting votes and money from the Republican Party. You guys (libertarians & staunch conservatives) are free to get off that teet and continue to have less than 1% representation in govt.

The most useless person in Congress, Rand Paul, was the deciding vote.

Is Rand supposed to change his long held belief that free trade is good for America?
