On a side note, I'm on a marketing call and I really don't like marketing call.

I do think you are smarter than this.

Then in order for Tim Pool to prove you right he needs to stop doing conservative things.

Bingo. The "server in a Stanford dorm room closet" story for Sergey Brin and Larry Page is as made up whole cloth as the science fiction that was The Social Network.

I think it was the first $15MM to startup google came from you and me.

And when corporate media is given marching orders to destroy/discredit any news that doesn't come from their assigned narratives/scripts, then your major outlet criteria fails to deliver.

Sometimes.

When they get to tee off on stupidity like Pizzagate, Wayfair, and Q, their credibility increases substantially.

When your "small internet sources" overlap with, or are able to be lumped in with, the stupid insanity (like Pizzagate, Q, etc.), then clearly credibility is a hurdle.

Your non-leftist outlets have to somehow steer clear of the stupidity, insanity, and grifting while still having a large enough market share to survive. Then, that survival has to scale up to being large enough to be "major". Hence why there just aren't many options (especially outside of traditional media like FNC, WSJ, etc.).

When Trump loses in 2024 and the outrage over "another rigged election" dies down, it will depend on where the wind blows.

If the Trump populist movement dies, people like Pool will be on to the next grift.

If he stays consistent or actually gets more conservative, then he can prove himself over the next 8 years or so. If he backs actual conservatives instead of attacking them in favor of liberal candidates, he can prove himself.

He should not have a voice on the right or have any say or sway in our primaries after being a literal Occupy Wall Street Bernie Bro 3-4 years ago.

agreed, from what the older posters say, they say this has been happening since 60-70-80's

I wasn't born till '91 and I sure as shite wasn't watching the news and CSPAN when i was 10 years old

So really just in the last 10-12 years or so have I actually started keeping up with the political/news class and it's just depressing. Not really sure of another way to put it.

What?

Both of those stories were routinely laughed at on here, for the same basis (CT bullshite)

Clay Travis is another. 2x Obama voter

He has Rush's old show and is an Obama guy. He's repeatedly pimped RFK and Tulsi this cycle.

Neat.

Good talk.

Clarification - Lifelog was a DARPA project, too.

In fact, there's still a DARPA facility on campus at Facebook. Building 8
