He has a strategy for these pardons - don’t know what they are, but My President only has the best pardons in his interest.

It’s call 18-D Chess

First off, yes.

Second, the pardons are bipartisan (mostly Democrats)

Third there is an underlying theme in these actions. They each involve cases of alleged overzealous, manipulative, and/or corrupt prosecution.

Rod Blagojevich is apparently holding a press conference later today. If so, it will be worth a watch. As an articulate Democrat who got undercut by Obama and Obama-loyalists because of his independence from them, he could produce some interesting comments.

Obama fricking pardoned a traitor that also used your tax money for their sex change...and that was after endangering the lives of fellow troops.

How do they even compare?

I’m preaching to the choir here but Obama could and should be tried and hung for treason!

Dude you are so transparent. Trump could anally rape a baby panda and the next day you would be on here explaining why him being the first president to think of doing this makes him the greatest leader this country has ever had.

Personally, I am amazed at Trump's strategy and continued shrewd thinking.

Put this together: Pardon DeBartolo - Why? Why now?

Who is present for pictures and the actual pardon "ceremony" :

Tampa/Hillsborough County Sheriff
Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks
Hall of Famer Jerry Rice
Hall of Famer Jim Brown

Pretty big political capital being raised.

I stopped giving a frick when Bill Clinton pardoned his rich pals even though they donated piles of money. So the quid pro quo was obvious and nobody cared. Lowered the bar, so if liberals can do it, so can Republicans.

Should pardon Assange if he reveals the truth about who hacked the dems' email.

So all of you IDGAF people would be saying the same thing if Obama had pardoned the same people (though he wouldn’t have)?
Of course not, they were all losing their minds over who he pardoned.

Politics make people act stupid and say stupid things and become huge hypocrites. This thread being a great example of that.

Never forget Mark Rich. Bill pardoned him after his wife donated $400k and only after getting cover from DOJ beforehand. Eric Holder provided the letter as Deputy A.G. to clear Clinton’s action and he did so (quid pro quo) with the understanding that Gore would appoint Holder Attorney General in his administration. Oops.
