Her and her family don’t deserve a penny.

Where were her parents while she was doing this?

I think this is good in that hopefully it gets some of these Dr.'s to think maybe we shouldn't be working on kid's until they become adults.

However, someone pushed this kid in this direction to do this outside of her therapist.

If Doctor's just made a consensus to not do these things until any person was 21 years or older, it would probably be a good thing to ending these scenarios of young people growing up and having regret.

Insurance companies and lawyers will be the entities that stop this barbaric procedure. I loathe lawyers, but damn they are needed at times.

That's all you got out of this story?
I already know kids regret transitioning sometimes.

I know leftist adults push them to do it.

I’m more concerned with giving them $2M.

Fantastic. The damn psychologist probably pushed her into it.

Probably doing 5 social media posts and videos a day praising their own selves and trying to make their fellow leftist friends jealous that they didn't have a trans child.

The point is that if people start winning lawsuits against doctors who participate in this nonsense, it will stop.

That's the story.

Even if it wasn't, I don't see anything wrong with a punitive judgement awarded to this child. She was a child at the time. Her doctors had a professional responsibility to her that they failed to live up to. That's what malpractice is all about.

It's not coming out of your tax dollars, and if the operation was to remove an arm or something without having done adequate medical due diligence first, it wouldn't even be a news story.

The parents bear responsibility, but they don't bear professional responsibility.

The doctors do.

Unless they botched the surgery, performing an elective procedure that is legal in that state with proper signed documents authorizing the doctors to do the procedures might be wrong ethically in yours and my minds, but they shouldn't be sued for it. Surely this will be appealed and will be overturned.
Remember the actress that had a double mastectomy because her mother and sisters all had breast cancer so she electively did the procedure so as not to also come down with breast cancer? Should her doctors be sued later because she changed her mind?

This is the way ... it should have been.

A psychologist or surgeon should be very concerned about their insurance premiums (or cancelation) when advocating/performing a 'Soros' procedure.
