Obama begging to be impeached.
This implies that he's a savvy political operator. I'm doubting it.
They just didn't do their homework on this one and it bit them in the arse. Hard.
Word is that the Dem aides didn't bother to do any prep-work with Bergdahl's family before rolling them out in the Rose Garden and they were shocked when the dad started doing Islamic prayers in Arabic and Pashtun while standing next to the President.
That little piece of video may end up being in a lot of campaign commercials leading up to November.

Former Army Sgt. Evan Buetow was the team leader with Bowe Bergdahl the night Bergdahl disappeared.
"Bergdahl is a deserter, and he's not a hero," says Buetow. "He needs to answer for what he did."
Within days of his disappearance, says Buetow, teams monitoring radio chatter and cell phone communications intercepted an alarming message: The American is in Yahya Khel (a village two miles away). He's looking for someone who speaks English so he can talk to the Taliban.
"I heard it straight from the interpreter's lips as he heard it over the radio," said Buetow. "There's a lot more to this story than a soldier walking away."

Believe me. Fox covering Bergdahl over the next months is going to make CNN look like they glossed over that damn missing plane. They're going to have non-stop coverage until November.

Word from who? I've heard people guess this to the case but no one in the know.

"Following his disappearance, IEDs started going off directly under the trucks. They were getting perfect hits every time. Their ambushes were very calculated, very methodical," said Buetow.
It was "very suspicious," says Buetow, noting that Bergdahl knew sensitive information about the movement of U.S. trucks, the weaponry on those trucks, and how soldiers would react to attacks.
Tie that son of a bitch to a steak, put a blindfold over his eyes, stick a Lucky Strike between his lips, and pump about a dozen 5.56 FMJ's into his chest cavity.

Only if it takes that long to get an explanation that makes sense.

We just gave up the top most dangerous prisoners at Gitmo and in return only got one stinking worthless traitor. You don't see the significance of the story?

Fox already has plenty on its plate with the IRS scandal and Benghazi, but Bergdahl does add a lot (at least right now) just by itself.

Significance? Yes
Worth the amount of coverage Fox will devote to it? Not even close

Some of the most damaging stuff so far has come from outlets like CNN and WaPo.
That tells me that even some of the outlets which normally cover up this kind of crap for Obama thinks this was way over the line.

I'm still curious as to the why?
On the surface this just makes no sense.
Was the soldier a double spy?
Was BHO trying to deflect bad news?
Was BHO set up to look very bad?
Did BHO really think this was a good idea?
Are the Dems trying to rile up the Repubs for a impeachment farce before the elections?
None of these seem plausible which is why I'm stumped.

Never throw the CIA under the bus. Wonder if the CIA gave Rice her talking points on Sunday. What a great troll that would be

It's a good question. The WH can be reckless, but they do have some decent operatives. How they're finding themselves in these awful messes, partially of their own making, is just really strange. I mean, I understand bringing home a soldier who potentially deserted is an iffy spot, but who decided to put Obama next to the dad? Did they really not know of the tweets or consider the visuals? Do they not care? Do they overestimate the benefit of the doubt the media will extend to them?

Just want to make sure I have the timeline correct as I'm not connected to the news as much as I have been in the past.
- Bergdahl went MIA while in Afghanistan
- he left a note saying he was leaving
- he was 'captured' by the Taliban that he supported
- soldiers died in rescue attempts even though he had deserted
- 5 high ranking Gitmo prisoners were swapped for him
- this all came after Obama signed a law basically saying he was not given the power to do this
I choose not to believe this is true, as I don't think our president is inherently evil (unlike the 9/11 truthers), but tell me where I'm wrong on this timeline. And again, I haven't read in any detail what happened. I simply put pieces together that I've read in blurbs.
