they dismissed traffic charges against her.
So it’s legal to drive without a license?

If a parent gave their 16 year old daughter a new car for her birthday and later it's discovered that the parent stole the car, should she have to give it back?
Absolutely.

Nice deflection, but the fact remains that she doubled down on criminal acts of her parents (bringing a minor child into the US illegally) when she chose to continue breaking multiple laws by choosing to live here illegally as an adult.
That doesn't even begin to address the myriad state laws broken with respect to driving without a licence/insurance.
it's not a deflection, it's what happened. she didn't get a vote. and to suggest upon her 18th birthday she should self deport is comically unrealistic.
i agree with deportations to a point. but this seems to be a hard working much beloved family in the community. make becoming a citizen easier for these types of people, they add value. barking for every illegal to gtfo right now is stupid and poorly thought out
and there are millions of american citizens driving around without insurance or a license. not enough pearls to clutch!

That is Dalton Georgia. Not sure if any of you have been to Dalton Georgia. That place is slam packed full of illegal immigrants and has been for decades. I knew American citizens fired from jobs in those carpet mills because they didn't speak spanish.

Yep. My hometown. Reagan did Dalton no favors by the first wave of amnesty being granted in 1986/87

I moved away from that area 28 years ago when I joined the USAF and never looked back. The illegal immigrant population when I left was bad and has exploded exponentially since I have been gone. I was from Rome and it wasn't as bad as Calhoun and Dalton but in recent years Rome, Lafayette, Ft Ogelthorpe and Summerville have received a lot more.

but they pulled over the wrong car so the traffic charges were dismissed

don't blame you. most everyone i worked with works for the car companies now. they make very good money for an area with pretty affordable housing

If you came illegally, citizenship should be out of reach forever.
We can talk about permanent residency, but the citizenship door is closed for all time.

To sum up the story she’s an illegal who came here at 4 had a minor traffic infraction and was sent to ICE. I guess people rightfully felt bad for her and she was released. Then despite getting mercy she doubled down.
ICE her again.

Precisely. These people, at their core
- irrespective of their intentions - are saying their own selfish desires matter more than the laws of the nation they claim to want to make their home.
The argument that illegal aliens simply want a better life for their family is supposed to make everything better In the minds of liberals, but it only underscores the problem.

Making citizenship impossible would be it's own deterrent.
