Toddy, it is kinda suckish that a rainstorm in dekalb county likely caused this runoff. Bad luck.

True. That will be resolved in the runoff. Have you noticed how much better Ossof performed over Hillary in the blue precincts? Double digits in just about all of them.

A surveyusa poll had him at 46% (without undecided allocated).

Still, he will likely overperform the polls.

GA state law. You only have to be a GA resident. Some random yokel from Savannah could have run for the seat.

The '10 minutes' away line was directly from the candidate's mouth.

He is 10 minutes away. But if his gf has to be on campus for an 8:30am class at SOM, those 10 minutes turn into an hour.

Karen Handel's stance on gay rights and abortion is going to doom her in this district. This is a very educated district with lots of socially liberal Republicans. The GOP has forfeited this seat by sending her into a runoff.

The county that will decide at this point, Fulton. Only 16% reporting.

Fulton County is one of the most reliably Democratic counties in the entire nation, having voted Democratic in every presidential election since 1876 except that of 1972, when George McGovern could not win a single county in Georgia.

2016, 68.99% voted dem, 27.35% voted Republican.

How can the reported voting numbers from CNN and The New York TImes be so different?

She's one 'legitimate rape' comment from a blowout (and stupid enough to say it).

Ossoff is a pro-LGBT, pro-ACA, pro-choice liberal. And he almost got away without a runoff in an R+8 district in a SPECIAL ELECTION.

This is bad news, even for those of you that deny it.

It's not all of Fulton. This part of Fulton is a LOT more Republican than the city proper or South Fulton. Those numbers you put up don't mean jack shite in the context of this race.
