Bush was rightfully ripped to shreds on this board, especially in his final term.
Bush was the first R POTUS I voted for in 2004 because I couldn't pull the lever for a traitor. I regret that vote. I basically voted for a Progressive president that was hated by the media. Now they will love him.

frick every Bush out there. They might as well become real f*cking Democrats instead of the f*cking RINOs they are. There was a reason why Jeb! was sent packing -- the entire f*cking Bush family can go to f*cking HELL.

W is a great American, whether you like his politics or not.

I've no problem with what he stated. Was this suppose to be a "See you Trummpers.... one of your own...etc"?
If so.... NOT!

he's a daddy's boy who got us into a pointless war. he wasted an untold amount of money on said war and who knows how many lives he destroyed while doing it. i am thrilled the GOP is no longer his family's party.

Is this a post from 2020?

Clinton and others before him also got us into that war. Putting it all on W is ignorant at best.

He's an elitist Establishment hack who's still pissed that Trump disrupted the intended coronation of low-energy Jeb.
As usual, DB, you have it wrong.

Waging aggressive - and completely unnecessary- war is a violation of the UN Charter.
Then you must believe Obama is also a war criminal because he continued that war along with waging unnecessary war in Libya and Syria in the same fashion

I disagree. Regardless, none of that refutes anything I posted.
As usual, Karla, you're chasing your own tail.

Carl Rove cited the Bush Administration's reticence to call out the press as a major mistake. Sounds like 'W' did not take the message to heart.

I'll agree that the 2003 invasion was pointless and poorly planned but the legal justification was ironclad. The first Iraq war ended with a cease fire agreement. Do you dispute that Iraq repeatedly violated that agreement? UN Security Council Resolution 678 was still very much in effect. Maybe the UN should consider including a sunset clause the next time they authorize force but such a clause can't be applied retroactively.
Bush wanted to believe that the Iraqi peoples woild come together in support of a western style secular democracy and his confirmation bias allowed the Mossad puppet Ahmed Chalabi to play him for a fool. Bush was naive and childlike in buying any bad intel that supported his narrative but Israel is the villain in this story.

The other day I was talking with a member of the famed political Bush family who was telling me they hated the idea of big government and a ruling political class.
Said no one, I mean ever.
