I don't give a shite about George Floyd.

He was a trashy person (understatement) and now he's a prop for Leftist agitation.

He turned his life around per the story. He was no longer robbing people with a gun, but was using fake money to steal from them instead.

End of story.

In your view does that justify burning down the country and shooting cops in the back of the head, etc..?

He had fentanyl in his system. It didn’t cause his death. It did contribute.

I've maintained throughout my adult life that anyone who commits the following crimes should be extinguished from our society: 1. Murder 2. Rape 3. Armed robbery 4. Selling illegal narcotics Plain and simple - we do not need those people in our society. Those people should not have a right to exist in our society. People who are convicted of these crimes should be executed in short order and not placed in a correctional facility for an extended time which is an additional burden on law-abiding citizens and taxpayers

So you agree that Chauvin should be executed in short order?

What is the intent of this story? To show that because he screwed up & served his time it makes it okay for Chauvin to publicly execute him with the aid of 3 other cops?

Floyd was a p.o.s

Rodney King was a p.o.s

Michael Brown was a p.o.s

I am not excusing the police's actions but all of these guys made really bad decisions and I am tired of these protestors making it out they are some poor innocent guy who was minding his own business

Why? The guy was no hero, but he shouldn't have died like he did. Let's not act like he was collecting for the church when he met his end.
And, again, he should not have died.

the cop may have saved lives. there's a pretty good chance floyd would have killed or seriously hurt someone at some point. sad I have to spell it out for you.

what do you think the chance of that happening if saint george

hadn't have

plead guilty to entering a woman’s home, pointing a gun at her stomach and searching the home for drugs and money, according to court records

Floyd was sentenced to 10 months in jail for having less than one gram of cocaine in a December 2005 arrest

He had previously been sentenced to eight months for the same offense, stemming from an October 2002 arrest

Floyd was arrested in 2002 for criminal trespassing and served 30 days in jail

He had another stint for a theft in August 1998

If Chauvin’s past is relevant to the overall discussion (it is), so is Floyd’s.

Floyd’s past will not be part of Chauvin’s trial and it shouldn’t be.

It’s perfectly appropriate to discuss the overall context of the entire situation and people involved.

The guy was born in the US and had every chance to make a decent life for himself. Instead, he turned to a life of crime. In the course of committing another one, he was jacked up on drugs and resisted arrest. It is a shame that he died, but why should I give a single frick?

And yes, the cop was wrong too and deserves to be charged. It should be a matter for the justice system. End of story.

So why do we keep bringing up the harrowing details of George Floyd's demise when discussing all of the criminal and violent acts being perpetuated en masse, in his name.

We know what happened to George and literally no one has defended it.

But these "peaceful" riots are being defended to the hilt

Think about this for a second - why would a man leave Houston and move to Minneapolis? From that climate to a sub-Arctic one 6 months out of the year?
