What makes you say that?
I see where you’re coming from. If it could work anywhere, it would probably be Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Monaco or Norway. If this were country-wide, there would have to be other measures in place to ensure companies wouldn’t enact hiring freezes or havemass layoffs, or to compensate small businesses working on already tight margins. It’s problematic when you consider the effect this would have on small companies (like all the small shops in rural areas)

A cheeseburger in Switzerland is $35

If that’s truly the case then God knows what it will cost.

For people who don’t understand economics it’s like this. You want to frick this hot prostitute. Your weekly welfare check is $200, so the hooker charges you $200. Well the government just raised your welfare to $500 per week to give you a better life. The problem is the hooker knows you have that extra money, so she is going to up her price to $500 since she knows you have it. That same service doubled in price after one week. That is inflation. That’s also why the National debt is a meaningless talking point as long as inflation is controlled.

I bet some welfare recipients at least get that in total, with housing, food, healthcare...

Sounds bigger than it is but only because you don’t understand their economy or country.

Not everywhere in Switzerland is like that. Yes, I’ve been to Switzerland. And no, every city is not like Zurich or Geneva.

Let’s give everyone $10 mln what do you think that does to the value of the money if you dilute it down?

Obviously you do not, based on the questions you are asking.

Maybe you're operating under the wrong set of assumptions then.

Was there a big problem with wages and living conditions associated with those wages in Geneva that this will serve to correct and improve?

Good question. There's scant media coverage, but from what I've seen, it would apply to 6% of workers, and is intended to assist them in not falling below the poverty line.

Because it was a snarky, trite midwit comment that didn’t address the substance of my question.

Massive inflation. Printing off money
like it’s nothing will in fact make money nothing.
