This is a win/win for us on the right.

I would just like to point out the difference in the way the Christian baker and florist told gays they didn't want their business with the way this gay coffee shop owner told the Christians he didn't want their business. The Christian baker and florist were polite, apologetic, and friendly. The gay coffee shop owner was rude, vulgar, threatening, and hateful.
This video is a perfect visual example in the difference between the two communities.

no, after reading everything in this thread i'm Team Gay now.
he was fricking pissed at that little mini-invasion and while he got a little ugly with them, i completely get it after looking at what they were taping to the walls.
they sat there in a little smug circle with their bibles and cellphone videos running waiting on the meltdown. odds they went to multiple coffee shops before getting one to react so they could film it?
glad he kicked them out.

Good for him.
There are plenty of other coffee shops.
See how easy that was?

quote:If I posted the image that they were plastering around, you would probably have grounds to ban me. It's a picture of an aborted fetus laying on the ground, made to look like it was dropped by someone's hands, which happen to rainbow colored hands. I think it's clear that homosexuality is the target of that image.
The gay coffee shop owner was rude, vulgar, threatening, and hateful.
And as a heterosexual who believes the prolife message is the most morally righteous, I found the images highly disturbing.
So while I don't excuse how he responded, it'd a group who is specifically trying to targeting homosexuals, apparently going around the area with the posters, and are presumably trying to elicit that response and waiting for the opportunity to tape it so they can only post his reaction without any context so they can make it look like he is targeting Christians in general to single him out as anti-Christian.
If it wasn't him, then they'll keep trying until they get the reaction. So I think it's unfair to use this and compare it to the respectful denial of a legitimate request for service, and then generalize it as a representative of the groups.

true, then they were trying to link homosexuality with abortion using disturbing photos, to get a reaction, and then hiding behind the moral superiority of prolife.
Or they were pointing out that at some point in the future, people could abort their gay fetus.

Yeah, 'cause there sure seemed to be a lot of other customers in his "shop." LOL

What a dumbass! He has now made it known that pro-lifers are not welcome in his shop. That's roughly half of his potential customer base.

Perfectly in his right to do so. The location he's leasing will be available for another business owner soon however.

bullshite. I support the Christian baker. But all the gay couple wanted to do was buy a cake. These fricking tools didn't go in that shop just to buy a cup of coffee.
