Yep. Literally not qualified to teach first grade (no college degree) but yet is a member of congress, unbelievable.

He tried 3 different colleges and couldn’t hack it before Daddy John used some stroke and got him a job as a staffer for Billy Tauzin, then John Breaux.

Does everyone realize why Kevin is so popular amongst his colleagues?

Hint….it’s for the same reason that motivates our “friendships” as well

That was the point where I really soured on him. Up to that point, he’d done a pretty good job being a little cog in the GOPe wheel, flying under the radar. But now I see him for what he is - part of the problem.

In our broken system, the only way to get things done is to be a swamp dweller. You do as the masters bid, and they throw some bones to your district (and you).

It's completely fricked up.

That’s nearly unforgivable. Their districts are next door to each other, so a Scalise-led house would have paid dividends for D6 as well as the rest of Louisiana.

Yep. I get why other people in other states might not want him, but this area of the state would have benefited from having the SOH right here.

Scalise also didn’t fail to get 217 by one vote. This issue seems enormously overwrought.
