If you are registered to vote and your signature matches your ballot, why does it matter?
Because blue states and purple states that have Democrats in charge don’t follow these rules. They accept any fricking ballot with their candidate checked regardless of if it has a signature or not.

Your side cheats like a motherfricker dude, just accept it.

SBBruin28….I remember when I was naive to life also.

Please tell me, what’s wrong with the system that’s worked for us to this point? Seems to have been plenty of D’s elected.

If you aren’t willing to secure an ID and get to the polls, you don’t deserve to vote. Doing so is a privilege. Act like it.

Explain, thoughtfully, why any of these things is a bad idea?

"The voting rights bills would have expanded voter registration with automatic and same-day registration, increased access to the polls by expanding early and absentee voting, and created new criteria for determining which states must receive pre-approval from the Justice Department or U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia before enacting laws that would affect voting rights."

Let's be real. Republicans don't want everyone to vote. They win when fewer vote. They win because the Electoral College is a ridiculous byzantine way to determine a president. There was no voter fraud that impacted the election in 2020. None- thrown out of court by Trump appointed judges time after time. Just because he's a poor loser and the cult follows his lead doesn't make it so. This shouldn't be an Orwellian reality.

Make election day a holiday. Let everyone register and vote however they want, early, in person, by mail. Have non partisan election officials certify - like we do today!

The answer to your question is simple:

Voting is not a right.

Voting is a privilege and a civil duty with the rules governing said privilege entrusted to the states. It’s not a federally guaranteed right and it shouldn’t be federally controlled.

Voting should be subject to a strict set of rules that ensure people have to make an effort to vote and those votes have to be verified. And those rules should begin and end within the states themselves that enact them.

Filibuster remains in tact. Senate rejects one-time change for voting rights The vote was 52 yeas to 48 nays. But Democrats needed the nays to prevail to alter the filibuster and overrule the chair. Manchin/Sinema voted yea, with the GOP, to sustain the ruling of the chair.
frick off SBBruin28, suck it bitch!

Your shitty vote fraud bill failed bitch.

The electoral college needs to go; it's an archaic vestige of antebellum America whose counterpart is completely unknown in any developed nation on the globe.
If you could move to "any developed nation on the globe" and get what you want... why the hell do you live here?

That’s a massive list for Pennsylvania. Wisconsin in particular had a ridiculous amount of fraud. Far mor than that one Arizona county. Duplicate and tripled ballots all over the country. Georgia got caught paying people 10 dollars a ballot. Voter rolls in Michigan weren’t cleared of hundreds of thousands. This is just the beginning. There were too many things to remember. Not to mention the unconstitutional changing of election laws. There’s got to be a site tracking all the local reporting that national news is burying

Also, no more counting votes a week or even days after election night. They are using those days to see how many votes to manufacture

How about that the process of voting and how implemented was left to the states, not the feds.

It's like no one (including the Feds) remembers the states and their citizens created the Federal government and not the other way around.

Personally I don’t think “easy” should be a part of voting. I think too much is “easy” in today’s world. You should be motivated, educated on the platforms, and have a DESIRE to cast your vote. I would crawl over broken glass and through fire to cast a vote for a candidate that doesn’t spend their days hating the country they want to lead. There are lots of things in life that you shouldn’t do just because you can.

If you can’t find $20 to buy an ID to be able to vote you don’t need to voting. You are obviously not contributing to society.
