Their "acceptance" is crazy and expects straight men to look at them as real women. That, plus them grooming children are just not acceptable. Hill to die on.

I guess it could have been read as the shooter was frustrated that the acceptance of transgender people wasn't high enough, but it seems more likely that CNN was saying that the shooter was frustrated with the acceptance of trans people in general.
I'd wait until more comes out, though, as I find it extremely hard to believe if that were actually true CNN wouldn't bury it at the end of a lengthy article and would instead be crafting articles around that.
