Without the lawyers and monitors in place there is no enforcement possible.

Ok - why are you confident things will go badly?
Conditions are better for Trump in 2024 in GA and the environment is probably harder to cheat in. So why all the preemptive meltdowns?

Apparently, there are a lot of people who don't understand some of us who complained about Trump attacking leaders in the State of Georgia at a rally when he should be attacking Harris' (lack of effective) policies.
Georgia is apparently a "swing state," and Trump's post-2000 tantrum helped give Georgia two Democrat Senators.
Trump could attempt to work with Kemp and the SoS to ensure the elections are handled correctly going forward and talk about that at his rallies, instead Trump keeps relitigating 2020 as part of his Festivas ritual.
The TD members on here that believe we are saying that Kemp/berger are off limits are many of the ones that also think Trump never does anything wrong.
Priva
That is one of the most idiotic post I have ever seen. His tantrums did not give Georgia two Dem senators but the rampant cheating sure did. Guess who was part of the steal? The leaders of Ga. (Kemp and Ratburger).

The willful lack of transparency is stunning ….
It's also very telling..... In what way would communications being monitored make anyone feel intimidated????
I suppose if the workers communications contain evidence or information about cheating, THEN the monitoring would cause them to feel intimidated!!!!
Even if true..... The negative consequences to our nation if election fraud/cheating occurs certainly outweighs an election workers feelings.
fricking ridiculous argument. Anyone supporting fair elections would agree to total transparency. Period.

why would anyone want to communicate with election workers? Ask the what exactly?
Do they want to communicate with the election workers, or do they want transparency on what the SOS office is communicating to the election workers?
There's a distinct difference. If Raffensperger doesn't want transparency on what his office is communicating to the election workers, then that's a problem.

Please explain how that works???
Trusting someone who has already proven they are untrustworthy???
That's not logical nor reasonable.
It's a ridiculous idea!

I don't like Raf so I don't care if he gets dumped on
I don't really understand the contention here though. If there is an app created for the SOS to communicate with election workers during elections, I would think they'd be subject to sunshine laws/ORRs/etc. like everything else and the public would gain access to those communications.
I think it would be GREAT if the app was available to the public to monitor in real time or close to it, but I also don't know that there is really precedent for that in any other arena of state government (Georgia or elsewhere)

A) it isn't a melt down.
B) If there's any weakness/holes the Dems have proven they will take advantage if they can.
C) The lack of transparency here is indeed telling.
D) see (b), Kemp isn't going to let the Trump campaign use "his" poll watchers and lawyers.

Kemp not being in direct coordination with Trump poll watchers/lawyers doesn't mean they won't be used. I guarantee you Trump poll watchers and lawyers will be on the ground in GA.

I think we can all agree that the Georgia Election Board should at least be able to review it.

I would assume they can take legal action to get the info.
Posted on 8/7/24 at 11:13 am to TigerB8
Can they not subpoena the information?

Well, 2020 happened and Kemp and Raffenturd gave GA to the democrats. Then when Trump called to make the "perfect phone call" to ask Raff to "find the votes", Raff knew what Trump meant. But Raff decided to twist it, record the call illegally, testify to the Marxists to back up the assertion that Trump wanted Raff to illegally fabricate votes. There is the whole Fani trial debacle going on because of this. Trump was booked, charged and had to stand trial for the lies Raffenturd and his team made up. There are State Election Board hearings going on that are laying the evidence on the table of the 2020 vote fraud. So, once you digest all that, you seem to think that Trump is supposed to work with Kemp and his SOS? After all they did to Trump so far, you think they are going to lift a finger to help Trump?

You know state employees are subject to turning over any communication?
I have a work computer and phone. The state could come get that anytime they want and look through it.
Why is it different for them?
Oh yeah, I'm not trying to cover up shite. They're allowed to.

quote:that's the point. It won't be "Kemp's" trained and experienced GA GOP poll watchers and lawyers. Lara Trump was informed of that last week. She will have to build it from scratch and do it before mail in ballots go out.

So even if she pulls it off and gets the training in place, and if she finds the lawyers from outside GA and gets them registered to practice in GA (sure, the SoS won't slow walk those) they will never be effective as the previously trained and experienced personnel.

Trump’s looking at more than that.
He’s still facing trial in Georgia. The Feds are trying to restart his Florida trial. Several of his associates have been convicted, and forced to pay fines because they said the election results were fraudulent.
Exposing it all throws all of that out.

B) have no idea, but does it require a subpoena or some form of administrative directive to turn those over? I doubt the Trump campaign has the authority.. it resides with the state's elected officials, who are the ones refusing to cooperate.
