Just an FYI, not all charges were dropped. The prosecutor is seeking to drop 5 of the 13 charges, and they're attempting to get one added with regards to a scheme that gave money to China. He's still facing serious jail time.

Dude knows where the bodies are buried. FTX laundered money sent to Ukraine during this dumb fricking war. This will get drug out for years and eventually forgotten about. I don't think he'll ever get convicted

I was going to start this thread early in the day when I saw the sensational "isourcenews" tweet on patriots.win -- but I knew SFP would be skeptical, and sure enough, the MSM articles made it seem like it's customary negotiating and procedure.

I was told this was impossible by multiple posters on this board.

Including cwill and SFP.
This is when you take a step back, gather the actual facts, and then come back in to scold all the posters on the clear wrong side of this (which you presently are).

It's just procedure. The feds are fighting the Bahamas over filing even more charges against him (the 5 at issue in OP).

I'm cross-posting/quoting on here and Money Talk. From the MT thread:

They added charges after the extradition and there is a dispute with the Bahamas over whether or not they permitted extradition on anything other than the original charges. A recent ruling in the Bahamas means more litigation/appeals are necessary, which puts the October date in doubt.

They just severed these charges from the original indictment, got a January 2024 trial date for those, all to ensure they weren't delayed in convicting him in October.

But yeah a dumb echo chamber CT makes more sense, at least if you're a sub-85 IQ person or one so far gone in the echo chamber you don't know what up is anymore.

I'm shocked that this board would be so uninformed and easily misled.
