Hispanic voters not so enthused with the white Irish guy in Texas
But muh yard signs!
Beto’s likely downfall: lack of Hispanic enthusiasm for him. Leads Cruz 56%-38% w/ Hispanics, but that’s just not good enough for a D to win statewide in TX. https://t.co/llFcScAtM2

If Beto could only combine his likely margins in white suburbs w/ Clinton’s margins/turnout in the Rio Grande Valley & low-income urban cores, #TXSEN would be a helluva tight race.

Quinnipiac University Poll has @BetoORourke stalled at nine points behind @tedcruz 54-45, among likely voters. Quinnipiac's Peter Brown. "The election is far from over, but Sen. Cruz would have to suffer a major collapse for him to lose."

Why are they so worried about Hispanic votes? Shouldn’t they be trying to get American votes?

The fake Hispanic vs an actual Hispanic conservative Texas icon.
Liberals want Texas so bad, but this just proves to me how much they just don’t understand Texans. An Irish white guy with a Mexican nickname ain’t taking down lion Ted.

What? Have they maxed out the D over sample? I would imagine the actual margin will exceed that and be 12-14%. By all means Dems keep spending money though...

When our largest county is over 50% Hispanic, then you pay attention to that fact.

Holy shite if those numbers hold.
In 2012 Cruz was down to Paul Sadler 65%-35% in Hispanic vote.

The polls are trying to get close to the actual results . Was it a month ago I saw a poll with Francis up over Ted by 2 ? If Ted doesn’t win by 12 I will be upset

The yard signs are real though and yuge numbers.
I mentioned in another thread, but I have never seen so many yard signs for a given candidate in TX.
It is unnatural, so I feel there is something else at play. At this point I fully believe they are being given out for free and I think some might be getting paid to leave them out.

Nope. Beto supporter neighbor had two of her signs stolen and they cost 10 bucks each to replace I think supporting Beto is a trendy thing here amongst the progs

Up in the woodlands they’ve got quite a few. I felt the same way but then I realized that was only my perception because there weren’t any Cruz signs out, lately though Cruz signs are all over the place and are outnumbering Beto by quite a bit.
For a while on my street I was outnumbered by the Beto people 4-1, now there are 6 more Cruz signs and still just the same 4 for Beto. Enthusiasm has risen considerably for Lion Ted, hopefully it stays.
