I hate hearing about your friend.
I’m an active, healthy 31 year old who had got covid and showed very mild symptoms.

Do you think I should get the vaccine?

Well don’t get it then!

I survived getting a dose of (somewhat )live swine flue that was never given to the public.
Made it.

Never had polio either!

If Polio makes a comeback you clowns are fricked!

As usual, you're a clueless retard. Over 3000 people have died from Billy G's magic juice.
That 3,000 (from the adverse event reporting) is not even causal, so that is simply false. If you weren't a clueless retard you might know that.

<3,000 "deaths" / 96,750,000 fully vacinated = 0.0031% vaccine mortality
<573,000 "deaths" / 32,200,000 cases = 1.7795% COVID mortality

574x higher death rate from COVID than vaccine thus far. You could conservatively assume only 25% of all COVID deaths were actually from COVID, that death rate is still almost 150x higher, and with substantially more documented longer-term morbidities.

You talking about COVID or the vaccines?

Because we've been seeing nasty intermediate-term morbities with COVID since the start. Can't really say the same of the vaccines, even with the sicker people getting it first.

I've never seen an issue have such paranoid and galvanized Karens on both sides. Total apprehension in the absence of any data supporting their viewpoints, everything just entirely in their heads. Crippling fear of going outside and scolding those who simply want to live their lives on one side, and crippling fear of the evils of big pharma and looking down upon others who are capable of doing the preceding math and have the audacity to not want to have to worry about killing their grandparents on the other. Insufferable.

Funny how your post had no criticism of Joe and his whore continuing with the 'vaccine' that was rushed through.

You're such a partisan hack.

I don't accept these numbers for two reasons; the numerator and the denominator. I don't believe for a minute that diagnosed covid cases represent actual covid cases. Not everyone runs for a covid test when they get the sinffles. Double the denominator.

I also feel the number of deaths is inflated by a measure of 3 or 4 in all likelihood. Did Pat Dye really die of Covid? What about countless others who were counted as covid victims

The smart play is to let the "herd" get vaccinated. That will end the epidemic and the unvaccinated will be ok.

The FDA is full of red tape loving apparatchiks. They can literally spend weeks sitting on an application due to the placement of a colon or semicolon in a footnote.

Phase 3 testing is the science. Trump did exactly what needed to be done to get us past this pandemic and its crippling fear porn. He fostered manufacture of doses at the conclusion of good phase 2 results. It worked. Deaths and hospitalizations are in steep decline.

It is unbelievable to me.

I railed and ranted against the lockdowns and restrictions until Kingdom come. They were one of the gravest mistakes I can ever remember this country making.

I cannot fathom the mindset behind hesitancy to take the vaccine. Those people are mathematical morons and do not understand risk and benefit.

Oh well. Any business of any repute will start mandating it soon enough, as will every single public institution in American, including schools. You also won't be able to travel or do shite without it.

You are a moron if you can't see why a healthy person that has had Covid may not want the vaccine.

Ok, reduce the numerator (deaths) by a half, lowering the death rate. Double the denominator (cases).

287,500 deaths / 64,400,000 = 0.45% new COVID mortality rate

But I'll take some appropriate adjustments too. We know the 3,000 "vaccine deaths" are overstated because the AER doesn't establish causality. Give me a 25% reduction there in the numerator to be safe, though it would inevitably be much higher. Then you'll need to increase the vaccine denominator to account for people who would have received one dose and may have reacted (an additional 45,000,000 people). I'll take only 10% of those to be conservative.

2,250 / 101,250,000 = 0.0022% vaccine mortality rate

COVID mortality is still 200x higher. Even with assumptions in your favor the math doesn't work. If you don't want to accept such numbers that's fine but you're just deluding yourself.

Your not considering two factors: long term potential negative effects of the vaccine and the reduced transmission rate due to the vaccine program.
