The immigration bill should be as follows:

Law: No Illegals are afforded any opportunity for legal citizenship. All must be rounded up and deported. Additionally, Border Patrol officers have immunity to shoot on target those that would attempt to cross into the U.S. Finally, no children of Illegals are citizens of the US. They to must be deported

-Signed Americans

It's telling that some like Mitch are mad at Trump for his comments. This is why part of my plan is to take a bunch of invaders up to DC and put them right outside the houses and apartments where people like Mitch live, and deliver some of them straight into the Capitol as well. Until the Insurgent Class in DC has to live like those on the border live, they will never change their tune.

Republicans are going to cave on this border stuff. They will cave on Ukraine stuff. Lindsey and Mitch will do everything possible to keep the Senate blue in 2024.

I suspect we will see another amnesty push before the election. It'll be vague and easily exploited, like always and we'll get 50 million new voters. I won't honor anything like that if Congress tries to push that through at the last minute. They don't have the authority to seek out the destruction of the nation.

Federal law already says It’s illegal to enter the US without permission.
The issue isn’t a lack of legislation; the plonkers in Congress need to address disregard of the law and lack of enforcement.

Which President tried to get a bill passed to give amnesty to 2 million illegals within the past 6 years?

This is primarily an issue of demography. As the Boomers age into mass retirement, they're going to be reliant on social security and Medicare, neither of which are sufficiently funded. Congress' only options are to tax the shite out of Gen-X (a small generation) or bring in immigrants to keep the Ponzi scheme running so that the voters don't throw them out of office. This is self-preservation for reps and senators. They don't mind selling us out to save their careers.

The latest WH statement is great:

"WE WILL SHUT THE BORDER DOWN! It's now up to the Republicans to pass the bill."

One problem is that the extent of 'shut down' and 'when' will be determined by Biden. He might stop 6 people from entering sometime next month.

The Dems know the GOP won't sign on. But it allows the Dems to say:

"Ya see! The GOP doesn't want us to fix the problem because they want to use the border as a campaign issue!"

There is no need for another immigration bill. That is how Congress manipulates and deflects.

This, and well this. Same as with the report regarding the FBI. They said passing new "codes of conduct" etc would do no good when the agents didnt follow the ones in place now.

Simply follow immigration law. And it was policy to deport the US citizen child with the illegal parents before all this nonsense about unaccompanied children started.
