Meh, this is a nothing burger honestly. France has a max stockpile of 100 nukes. Meanwhile Russia has the most at around 6000 and we aren’t far behind at 5500 estimated. 100 nukes couldn’t even destroy 1/5 of America. Plus we and Russia constantly also have nuclear subs patrolling the world (5 at a time in our case with a total a 15 that rotate out) which are some of our most closely guarded intelligence.

The big difference is ours are so sophisticated they don’t have to emerge above water for a total of 6 months. No one else has anywhere close to this technology. It’s why any and all talk of anyone including China and Russia winning a war with the US is ridiculous. We are now a naval and air power and so so so far ahead of those countries in those areas. America has a bigger navy than the next like 7 countries combined and is the only country that has aircraft carriers powered by nuclear meaning they can go a year without needed refueling. We have a total of like 12 of these. Only one other country has any of them and I think it’s actually the UK if I remember right but whoever it is they only have 1.

lol good luck with this and their 100 nukes, which aren’t at the level of the Americans or Russians. They also don’t have the tripartite deterrence we have with land based, constant sea based, and constant air based threats of nuclear attacks or retaliatory constantly in motion in secret about the world. This is a huge part of why we want to make Greenland a territory as well btw. It’s position on the globe makes it the most ideal place to put anti nuclear missile defense systems from places like Russia and china, as well as providing a new stop for our nuclear subs to rotate out at after their 6 months underwater instead of having to rely on whichever one is in Europe. The other two are currently in Savannah and Seattle
