The irony. The entire reason Fox just had to settle a case they could have won for almost $1B is because it would have exposed guys like Tucker as the fakest, least sincere pundits on air. He hates Trump and doesn't believe in any of the bullshite and Dominion had the receipts.

What’s even more strange is why someone as smart as Elon Musk would go to Tucker to give exclusive multi part interviews or as powerful as Kevin McCarthy would give Tucker 42000 hours of J6 footage when they know he is a big fake like you say.

Are you suggesting that’s why they canned him?

shite had long been out publicly. Was he losing any of his audience because of it.

Just because he fed red meat to smooth brains doesn't mean every topic he had on was bullshite.

But he was about ratings, nothing more. He knew what Patriots wanted to hear, and they would loyally tune into him. Guys like Elon, McCarthy, etc. got their message out to a larger audience, which solidified the ratings for Tucker.

I don't understand what's so confusing. It's pretty simple. Tucker's #1 priority was ratings. If the rare story for ratings did actually fall within his personal belief, fine, but the majority of what he put out clearly did not.

Also, clearly there are lots of jealous people at FNC who didn't want to "sell their souls" and couldn't compete ratings-wise, who are now taking anonymous shots at him.

THIS is Tucker

quote:

“We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest,” he wrote in another text message, referring to the "last four years." “But come on. There isn’t really an upside to Trump.”

"We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I truly can’t wait,"

I'm sure the settlement has something to do with it. If he was retained, I doubt they would have let him keep running stories on the crazy.

I mean, what good is Tucker if he goes back to what he had been prior to this iteration of his public character? Would Patriots still tune in if he was RINO Carlson?

No idea what Tucker said about Dominion, but Dominion is crooked as hell.

Took months to get the subpoenaed voting machines.

Just like Hillary and her suboeonaed phones. Just bashed them and throw them away ingoring the subpoena.
Nobody said a word about that obstruction.

He’s about to make $100,000,000 per year on his own.

In what universe will he be making anything close to this? I saw a report that the ad money generated by his show last year was $77 million. It was the tops at Fox for sure; however, if that is the money he generated in 2022 with Fox’s huge infrastructure providing tailwinds for him, he won’t get close to that on his own.

I had a boss that once told me that on any given day you could find a reason to fire almost anybody. Unless your name is Murdoch at Fox,you can get fired .
