Oh I could see renting one from someone, but definitely not renting out a F150 Lightning.
I think many people found out over time that their renting via Turo was very -EV overall.
They SEVERELY underpriced themselves to compete with real rental outlets (especially the super car examples)

The worst part of the NOLA attack? That our first thought is concern that the FBI will not be truthful.

That article doesn’t mention the truck being rented

Sorry, I may have linked the wrong article.

Truck involved in attack was registered to Houston man
The New York Times is reporting that the Ford electric vehicle was owned by a 42-year-old man from Houston, Texas.
The truck was apparently rented on Turo, and police have already contacted the owener who listed it.

The border policy from the Biden admin is to blame.
But yet it was a BI-PARTISAN bill that was DOWNVOTED by Republicans on the request from TRUMP that would have strengthened the border.

I wonder what will happen if they used his truck to cross the border to avoid suspicion, and what the governmental response will be if this turns out to be truthful.

Are the people crossing illegally at Eagle Pass routinely doing it in trucks?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you use the One CBP app which this admin has touted as a way for illegals to get here and get their hearings 5yrs out, they go through normal entry points
Again, we don't know all the details, but there are explanations.

Just updated... Truck crossed border 11/16/24 and the driver in the truck was not the suspect
So the crossing isn't related to this incident.

Just said the truck crossed back in November and the owner of the truck when it crossed is not the same person as who committed the act

Here's the quote from the original link I posted. (Love ABC misspelled ABC)
Truck used in New Orleans attack apparently rented through carsharing app
The F150 truck that was used in the New Orleans attack was a vehicle rented through the Turo app - a carsharing company, ACB News has learned.
The truck's owner told ABC News that he rented this truck to an individual through Turo and that he is currently talking to the FBI, declining to comment further.

Mayorkis and his ilk may just be prosecuted by Trump's admin.
I hope so but I won’t hold my breath for this to happen. It’s just typical DC bullshite. They ignore subpoena’s and lie under oath when they do show up and nothing has happened to anyone guilty of this. This is just another example of why this administration needs to be prosecuted as traitors

How many times we going to hear this bullshite excuse ?
That bill did nothing to secure the border and was just a way to legalize what they were already doing.

Not even close... still don't know this guys story.
Confirming he rented the truck in Houston from a guy in his 40's.

10 hours, more or less, from Eagle Pass to NO. If the truck went from Eagle Pass to Houston, assuming it sat at the owner's residence for at least some amount of time, taking refueling/recharging into account, that's a pretty fast trip.
