he did say it was unprecedented to question a former VP.
but his original answer or being questioned by J6th committee (that just lost it's evil queen chairperson) is too late. no one cares that his aide's testimony wasn't enough to fry Trump. so they think his would be.
people are worried about food on the table and affording to drive to work & IRS agents armed.

First of all, this was a planted question.
They want Pence as a primetime television witness against Trump.
There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that the Pence team is in negotiations for this to happen.
Pence will try to use it as an opportunity to undermine Trump and simultaneously elevate himself.
This is an impossible needle to thread and the idea that he would even consider it shows you how out of touch Mike Pence is.
Pence is the worst.
They want Pence as a primetime television witness against Trump.

Are you seriously saying that Pence would lie to frame Trump? Pence could have thrown Trump under the bus any number of times if he had wanted to, the dude has a frickload more character than Trump ever will have.

I still wonder why they haven't subpoenaed Trump.
I mean, normally you want the accused to talk as much as possible to catch them in a lie, even if an honest mistake. Lying to congress is a criminal offense, so is obstruction.
So why not subpoena him?

None of this would change the fact that Mike Pence is a piece of shite as a human being but more importantly, he is a terrible politician.
Most politicians are shitty people but some of them are at least smart.
Pence should stop working with Democrats and the establishment to prevent a Trump candidacy and just run against Trump like a man.
Let Republican voters and ultimately the American people be the judge and jury.
He's too much of a pussy tondo that so he's working in the shadows with criminals.
