I just made the point that you do not want an adversarial relationship between ER/hospital and EMS/Po-Po. That numbnut statement helps my point. That shite DOES happen. They can bring you solid turds for a week or two. While sending another hospital all the BCBS patients. In addition the police will do their job if shite broke out in an ER but they won't break their necks getting to a call if they feel, to a man, that the staff fricked over their guy.

Right. Your limp-wristed attitude makes this type of behavior possible.

If she just complies, nothing bad would have happened, except maybe losing her job. I don't understand why people continue to defy law enforcement. They're only trying to do their jobs and protect us.

But again. I had the parties in the actual crash reversed. Thought the turd survived. It's the other way round. So I am out.

That "turd" still has the same constitutional rights and protections as that victim before the whole situation flipped around on you.

Unfortunately this is becoming typical of much of law enforcement these days. There are a lot of good apples, but there are getting to be a lot of rotten ones.

The problem is that, based on your earlier posts, you would have drawn the blood and handed it over to the cop without hesitation. And if you are serious about having done a lot of blood draws, you may have already violated the rights of several people.

There shouldn't be one. The cops should be looking out for the interests of that patient just as much as the nurse.

That this thought is even something they would entertain or joke about is worrisome on its own.

Am I a constitutional scholar? Nope. That's for courts to hammer out after the fact.

Again. Reversing roles, I am in Texas. Injury with fatality or bodily injury, consent is not needed. I would not put my arse on the line for a dude who blasted a family of three let's say. The law and lawyers will do what is needed. I will do what I am asked. Within reason.

Reverse roles back to what the facts are, I no longer have a problem with this nurse protesting. Or making extra sure.

So break some laws because a cop tells you to do it, lose your job, and open yourself up to hugh law suits...nice.

Or were you using sarcasm? I couldn't tell.

I'm still trying to figure out how a cop can actually HEAR a person being told by their boss they can't take an action and the officer arrests........ The employee?

He was likely so amped up that he didn't hear the admin guy.

It's hilarious because these dumb arse cops have no frame of reference.

The idea of accountability is lost on them. The concept of a board revoking a practitioners license because they willfully break protocol is foreign to them.

With the video taken from the side, you could see the rogue detectives body language when she was on the phone. His hands were clasped together and he was doing the agitated thumb roll. You could see the steam building as the seconds went by. He was fuming inside and was trying to appear calm until the dam broke and switch flipped. Dude was a volcano ready to erupt.

I really believe most cops can't read the law they are supposed to enforce.

there have always been plenty of shitty cops.

Prevalence of cameras just shows them to us now.

What happened to those cops who beat a man on fire because they thought he was a fleeing traffic stop guy but he was just a guy who was crashed into by the fleeing suspect all because they had to high speed pursuit a guy over a traffic violation.

LINK

So the fleeing traffic violator died due to the pursuit and because of the pursuit he crashed into an innocent civilian who's car burst into flames...

And he crawled out of the car in flames and the cops ran up and started beating his arse...Because they thought he had dared to defy them and not stop for a $100 fine or something.

The guy is on fire and an officer walks up as a civilian says help him out help him out and as a way of "protecting and serving" Americans - the cop kicks the guy in the head. While he is on fire.

I don't know why a culture was created where police hate America or Americans and the rights we are afforded. Police have become anti-American...because they don't uphold the Constitution or treat Citizens with the respect they promised under oath to do.

They don't protect...and they certainly don't serve us. You report a crime and you start getting investigated...Your house gets robbed, you call the police, they start investigating you..."Are you sure you live here, is this really your hosue? Maybe you robbed it?"

They have another master out there...and it's not the law or the Constitution.

3 officers were suspended without pay, but I haven't heard anything further.
