It certainly doesn't mean it is truthful.
People lie under oath probably 50k times a day in the US.

Bill Clinton's testimony was under oath but that didn't stop him from committing perjury.
Comey obviously has malice against President Trump, therefore, the veracity of anything Comey says or writes about President Trump has to be questioned because of it.
Also, Comey's memo quoting what President Trump said to him during their private meeting is just a self serving document because Comey could have made up anything about what President Trump said to him during the private meeting and Comey has no evidence to prove what he wrote is true and accurate.

I'm not making the argument that it wasn't legal. It probably was.
It was incredibly stupid and no one here gave him shite about it, but everyone is pretending to be a legal expert and convict Comey for doing something completely legal.
But to say the info Trump shared wasn't classified is just dumb.

James Gagliano is a former Assistant-Director-in-Charge of the FBI’s New York Division who hasn't worked at the agency since 2015.
So unless he's getting leaked information himself, it's not clear how he'd have any knowledge of this.

I went to law school. Which part of what "Comey did" are all of the scholars saying is a-ok? Are there any scholars saying the opposite? Just trying to narrow down the scope of what you are melting about.

This is the Oath all FBI employees must sign. Number three is pretty interesting.

Opinions dont put people in jail, facts do. Do any of these people ever look at actual evidence? Everyone including myself has been ripping the Russian narrative because there is no proof of anything. Just a bunch of "likely"s and "probably"s. This story should go just as far as the Russian one did...nowhere.

What's kind of funny to me is that the President essentially accused Comey of perjury by disputing some elements of his story, but that none of his allies consider it trustworthy enough to follow his lead and instead they bring up leaking (which is improper release of what's generally considered reliable information). His allies don't even consider him credible with regard to what happened in the meeting.
