All stalling tactics to try to prevent the confirmation vote from being held before midterms because Dems think they can win back the senate and block the nomination entirely at that point
What they want is to take the House, file impeachment charges. At that point the narrative will be that you can't vote on a SC Justice nominated by a president who has had impeachment charges filed against him.
They could then go to the next step and argue that even if not removed by the Senate, a president who has had charges filed, is too tainted to nominate another Justice.

So now that the Scotus is lost and things like 2nd amendment issues will be a 4-4 tie, does that mean that the lower courts rulings will be deferred to for the forseeable future? So basically the 9th Circuit is the new Scotus?

I 100 percent agree that she needs to be given an opportunity to tell her story, before the vote is held.
If she declines that opportunity, she is owed nothing further, and Congress has, in my opinion, no further responsibility.

Saw on Twitter that her attorney is trying to set conditions for Ford's testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday. And get this: Ford has yet to agree to appear at the hearing on Monday. Ben Shapiro and a few others are retweeting these reports.
Please let this damn vote happen already, this isn't a damn court of law this is a simple Senate process of confirmation and she had her chance to witness against him at the confirmation hearings, she doesn't automatically get another chance just because of an 11th hour tactic, this is so inefficient on the legislature's part one of the big reasons why I'm a libertarian. If he's rejected, he's rejected and Trump can appoint someone else CMON MAN!
