Maybe that's the story but I suspect there is more to it... AI excels at just about all things 'coding and programming'. It is, more than ever, the old axiom ... Garbage in, Garbage out. the more accurate material AI has to train on, the better the result. Because in most cases, AI won't tell you it doesn't know the answer... I just makes it up.

An example, this morning I was looking for a 'lost receipts' form on our 'company AI' ... it only would recognize for 'medical payments' when I was searching for expenses.

I suspect it is a third-party product which helps design physical components, perhaps working through Solid Edge or Solid Works CAD software.

I spend half my day hand-holding “AI engineers” (aka just people who type in prompts) who have no idea how any business they are interacting with works.

Everything they’ve produced has been a giant waste of time so far. They produce documents and lists and when I respond, “I don’t know what is this for, I can’t use this. What is it?” They don’t even know and then say, “can you get it to work?”

A lot of companies were over promised and under delivered with AI. It's a great productivity tool, but right now, it still needs humans to oversee it.
