This is one of the most despicable course of events that our country has ever seen. I truly cannot believe what we are seeing.

Ford is not going to testify, because if she lies under oath, she goes to fricking jail. She knows this, her lawyer knows this, and that's why they released that utterly absurd list of demands last night. That list was borderline comical, and it was structured in a way to ensure Ford does not testify. Ford's lawyers are utilizing a tactic that follows this logic: if you don't want to do something, demand impossible things from the other side, and when they reasonable counter and say no, you can claim they "won't compromise." When the Republicans respond and say no, as they rightfully should, to some of these asinine and ludicrous demands, Dems will say "She wants to testify and you wont compromise!"

There is no way to read the list of demands from Ford and think anything other than she will not testify. She proposed Kavanaugh to speak first. Ford is the accuser. How can he even respond to speak to these allegations without first hearing what she has to say? This violates every aspect of due process that our country practice. When I saw that on her list, I truly believed it was a joke.

For those keeping score at home, Democrats think Kavanaugh should not be confirmed because of a 35 year old sexual assault claim that:
-Doesn't allege any intercourse or removal of clothes
-At BEST, is inappropriate touching
- The accuser can't remember the number of people or location of the event
- The only witness claimed the event did not happen
- There is no physical evidence that it ever occurred
- Was not brought up until Kavanaugh was nominated for the SC

What we are left with is Brett Kavanaugh essentially fighting for his life based on a very, very shaky allegation of potentially inappropriate touching from a witness who won't testify under oath unless the accused goes first. If you point out any of these facts I made above, you are deemed sexist, racist, and homophobic by the left. Absolutely incredibly time we are living in.
