Lol. So forcing pregnancy will solve all of society’s ills huh?

Who’s out forcing people to get pregnant against their will?

FWIW, I’m ok with it till the point of heartbeat.

My god. Forcing pregnancy.. as in not allowing the woman to terminate.

So killing for convenience? If you are ok with this we are so far apart on this topic neither of us will convince the other to see their side.

Well, that's literally nonsense.

If I don't allow termination, then, by definition, you were already pregnant and, that means I didn't force the pregnancy.

Do better

What type of cutoffs are restrictions to abortion do you agree with if any?

Yah. But I’m for the status quo. You guys would be transforming society and it’s not as simple as banning abortion and being done with it. Forget thinking about it on an individual level. What would we have to do as a society if it was banned? That’s something pro lifers also have to answer.

Ahh...........the whole veiled "men forcing upon women" rhetoric.

Except, ruh roh. Women and men are 1% point apart in wanting to completely ban abortion.

Women are a whole 3% points more likely to want abortion COMPLETELY legal in all cases.

Whoops. Talking point dead.

How about being more responsible for starters?

Nobody wants an abortion until they want an abortion

Then some go on back to being "pro lifers"

We had to transform society after banning slavery too. And, it was fricking HARD! It took DECADES to even BEGIN to actually get it right. Arguably, it took more than a century.

You don't decide whether or not to do the right thing based on your level of discomfort with having to deal with the new paradigm.

That's fine and all. I'm merely pointing out that the "muh men imposing on women's bodies" rhetoric falls completely flat in the face of actual polling

That is the plan. Be more responsible. It's not complicated at all

This is all hypothetical. Banning abortion now would ultimately bring back abortion later. So it’s just going to remain a philosophical debate and some tweaks to state laws here and there.

Perhaps. Alas, this has zero bearing whatsoever on whether it's right or wrong.

Frankly, I suspect that one day, it will a debate rendered entirely moot by technology.

Are you saying a mother should have the option of having an abortion all the way up going into labor if she so chooses?

yes.

That is pretty interesting. Do you mean you think the tech will be able to 100% prevent pregnancy or detect a fertilized egg ASAP to where it can be aborted?
