Im really trying to ignore this one, but did the cops know he was a violent threat? Did they radio in his plates or get some other heads up that he had been involved with a gun threat in the past? Because that changes everything about how these suspects are handled.

Not really... think a gun or knife would have justified the actions of the cops. Just think it’s important information. Could squash riots and deaths of people (including cops).

Not Monday quarterbacking here... would like to see actions that led up to the shooting and whether or not a weapon was in play. Honestly, that’s first I’ve heard about a knife... was hoping his actions were justified.
