Wife sat across from an accomplished Haitian accountant yesterday who is fluent in multiple languages. A person who embodies professionalism.

Yet, we don't need/want Haitians......fucm. Amirite?

Those with the will to succeed always do. Case in point

That is sooo dumb and disjointed attempt to equate 2 completely unrelated concepts that I pity you.
There can be no way you're being serious.

It was said in a private fricking meeting.

Thing is, the meeting was attended by Democrats too and Trump has to treat them like those little shite kids in elementary school who loved to do nothing else but tell the teacher every time you did something they thought was wrong.

"Mrs. Snotsmeyer, I saw Bobby pick up a pine cone and throw it at the tree. You told us not to throw on the playground and Bobby was throwing so I wanted to let you know so you could get him."

Trump is gonna be Trump so we'll have these type things rise up and sometime these will take the spotlight off of some very good work.

The accountant doesn't change that. Heck, he probably agrees that his country is crappy.

Did you guys miss the getting Haitians out comment that followed shithole?

Zach, They say that because there are probably a lot of unsafe places there. Like I said the country is a mess in many ways.

I can only tell you what I experienced personally. The cities are a total mess with children begging everywhere and sewage in the streets. In the countryside everyone smiles and says Bonjou! (Hello)

Many people there have nothing and are content, happy people. Those few who are fortunate to make it here in the US work their buts off because they know nothing is handed to them and they are thankful for the blessings this country provides.

I serve a God that loves the poor Haitian and the rich American. We are so blessed in this country to live somewhere where we don't have to worry about going hungry or dying from unclean water. We shouldn't lose sight of that, and we should have compassion on those who are less fortunate... At least that is my personal conviction.

good grief......she's Haitian and accomplished. Trump mentioned getting Haitians out. It would be bad to force her to leave or if she was never let in.

Damn, son. Context?

It doesn't contribute much to AGW

Haiti has the lowest carbon footprint per capita of any place on earth.

Yes...context. In what context does conflating an individual with the conditions of a shithole country make any sense?

That makes no sense as a comparison to pointing out the reality of Haiti being a shithole.

How many armed guards do they have? Looks like a nice place that is protected like a mofo.

I think it's an island of the coast so it should be safer than the mainland. I bet there are armed guards though.

I'm not a fan of places that need armed guards.

For those white knighting for Haiti

The richest 1% of Haitians own the same wealth as 45 percent of the poorest population. There is a new baseline of poverty in Haiti, based on consumption: The national poverty rate is 58.6 percent, the extreme poverty rate: 24.7 percent.
