For those appalled by Shithole comment: tell me one redeeming characteristic of Haiti

And African countries that would make Trump’s alleged comment incorrect?
I can’t think of one. I have never heard anyone say: “ Welp summer is coming up, i was thinking of taking the family down to Haiti for a little R and R.”
Africa: i guess you could say that if you are into killing big game it would be the place to go. Aside from that it’s a continent of unlimited potential in terms of resources and man power that for some reason just can’t seem to get its pervebial shite together. The Countries are run by tribes and war lords that steal and hurt their own citizens. How is this not the beer definition of a SHITHOLE?
ETA: with regard to Africa, perhaps Trump is wrong. As Lebron and Spike Lee have said, it’s full of Kings and Queens. So Trump is wrong, a place full of Kings and Queens can’t be a shithole. My apologies to Africa.

I started a resort thread on the Travel Board (immediately and predictably called a racist ) and then went to Trip Advisor. An excerpt:

Even its neighbor on Hispaniola, the Dominican Republic, doesn't want anything to do with it and, while they haven't put up a wall yet, make it hard for Haitians to enter and stay.

It was said in a private fricking meeting. If he held a press conference and said that then I might be Have a wtf appearance. He is having a meeting with his colleagues in governance and he spoke candidly and truthfully.
