I'm calling bullshite... Never heard of anybody that wants to keep people from visiting. Maybe there are some extremists militias in the hinterlands who have these views, but those people probably seldom leave their county, let alone the country. That's an extremely far, far out there position that almost nobody agrees with, so it's pointless.
Even more, I don't know of anybody who doesn't want anybody to immigrate to this country. Most people I know want to keep terrorists out of the country, although they may differ on how to do this.

I think you meant the band Foreigner. That was well- deserved, considering that whole "I wanna know what love is" fiasco. Thank God the State department put an emergency hold on that tour bus at the Canadian border. And I think that Trump was right when he said "No Lou Graham, no entry".
I've also heard he want's to make America great again by re-recording Horse with no name and Ventura Highway with him doing the backing harmonies bigly.

I remember Boris Yeltsin's first trip to America after the fall of the USSR.

I love other's coming here to visit and see how great of a country we are. Besides all of the political grandstanding that I am guilty of as well, we are the greatest country to ever be on this planet.
More diverse than Europe, Canada and Mexico and for the most part, we all get along and work together very well.
Whenever there is a catastrophe somewhere in the world, it is the American people who send money, food and volunteer to help out the less fortunate.
People need to see what we have here and try to emulate it instead of tearing it down.

I let the OP slide by simply because so many people were piling on that adding anything was unnecessary, redundant, and gratuitous. (I know how careful we all are about this on the PT board.)
But this post really sets me off. I'm from Texas, but now live in Minnesota, right next to two college campuses. I am surrounded by intelligentsia poseurs with Al Franken bumper stickers. Still, I can find all kinds of idiocy and ignorance all over the place. I just have to look for it.
I'm sick and tired of this red herring that prejudice and ignorance are confined to rural areas in red states, and PNW is here reinforcing that premise with bogeyman hypotheticals that smell like "Do you still beat your wife."
Given your location and job, maybe you should be more familiar with the Two Wolves thing.
